Maplegrove Property Management is a Limited Liability Company founded January 1, 2001 and established to provide outstanding property management services for Condominium Associations, Multi-family residential complexes, and Commercial Offices in central and west Michigan. It provides management services that include facility maintenance, fee/rent collection/transmittal, coordination of vendor activities, accounting, leasing, verifying financial eligibility, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax-credit regulations. Maplegrove seeks to differentiate itself from other property managers through its commitment to quality and excellent customer service.
The principal managers of Maplegrove are:
Jim Anderton, B.A, M.B.A., Ph.D., Managing Member - CEO, is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring property budgets; insurance coverages; property fees/rents and occupancies; and financial and occupancy reports to property owners. He also directs the apartment, financial, and legal activities of the company. Jim is a licensed Associate Real Estate Broker and Maplegrove Property Management is licensed as a Michigan Real Estate Broker and Residential Builder.
Steve Calverley, B.A., Managing Member - COO, is responsible for the management of all condominium-related work; the maintenance staff; and the contract and estimating activities of Maplegrove. He holds certifications from Homebuilding Industry Consultants, The National Association of Homebuilders, and the National Association of Realtors. Steve is a licensed Associate Real Estate Broker.
David Emdin, B.A., Area Manager, West Michigan, is responsible for the management of properties managed by Maplegrove in West Michigan. In this capacity, he has responsibility for the efficient and profitable operations of these properties and the staffing and training of Maplegrove associates employed in their operations.
Barbara Witkowska, B.A., M.A., is Chief Administrative Officer. She and her staff are responsible for assuring the availability of state-of-the-art communication capabilities between our clients and Maplegrove associates. This work focuses heavily on telephonic and electronic interfaces. Barbara also serves as a Condominium Operations Manager by serving as the Board liaison to several associations.
Other key managers and their responsibilities are:
Jack Roost, B.A., former Audit Partner of Plante & Moran, Certified Public Accountants, is the Director of Accounting and Amy Jarrad, B.A., serves as Chief Accountant. They are assisted by 5 associates who are responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and human resources.
Jeff Woodard, A.S., is Manager of Maintenance Services. In this capacity, he is responsible for the efficient scheduling of the maintenance staff and assuring that the work is completed in a quality manner. Jeff is a Michigan Licensed Builder and uses his degree in Architectural Technology to also do drafting and estimating work for Maplegrove.
The fifty Maplegrove associates manage over 50 properties and manage each property as though they own it.
